PTA 2000-2001 Honor Award

Hello Everyone,

I am so glad that you are checking out our Website. Here, you can find out everything that you need to know about this wonderful school and everyone involved with keeping TMS ranked as one of the top schools in the state. This year the TMS PTA is fired up about all of the things that we have planned for our children. We want to provide the teachers and children with the tools that they need to experience the best education that TMS can provide. We are hoping that you will join us in teaming up for an extremely successful year.

The PTA has planned a phenomenal year with regard to cultural arts. Our Cultural Art Volunteers have put their hearts and souls into this project and it promises to be a fun experience for all. Our children will learn things related to all of the arts as they wind their way through the “TMS World of Art.” Our hope is to instill a love of all of the arts through their exciting experiences.

Helping fund Technology is a very important role that the PTA plays at our school. We want to make sure that all of our teachers have the latest in educational resources to make their teaching easier and more effective. The goal at TMS is to learn all that you can learn and have fun doing it. Technology provides the teachers what they need to achieve this goal. Please attend our technology meetings, or call our Technology Chairperson to learn more about what we are up to.

Of course, we cannot do anything without you! We need volunteers in all areas of the school from the front office to the outside gardens. When parents get involved with their children’s school, they learn how important school is to your family. So, find something that interests you and get involved. Volunteering allows you to meet so many wonderful people and you will see first hand what a Fantastic School Tchefuncte Middle School is.

Thank you and I look forward to meeting you as we team up for success together.
