Field day is a day for students at Tchefuncte Middle School to have fun, to get exercise, and show good sportsmanship. Field Day only happens once a year. Everyone in the school can participate. Field Day is held in the back of the school.

Fourth and Fifth grades participate in events related to the school’s theme. Sixth grade participates in a “Survivor” themed field day where students do co-operative games or challenges such as Mystery Munchies, Critter Chaos, Nitro Carry, and Funky Dunk. It takes 40 parent volunteers working with Mrs. Shaw and Mrs. Benoit to make field day a success.
