Builders Club develops leaders through service

If you want to make a difference in your life and community, check out Builders Club. Last year, more than 45,000 middle and junior high school students around the world were involved in this Kiwanis-family program, developing leadership skills while working with friends to help others in need. At TMS, our Builders Club invites 6th grade students to meet once a month to discuss and organize service projects. While some of our projects are during the school day, a few of our projects occur on Saturdays. In the past, the TMS Builders Club has participated in the Keep Mandeville Beautiful Beach Sweep, held a fund-raising car wash, sponsored food drives, and collected much needed supplies for the St. Tammany Parish Humane Society. Information about how to get involved will be available to you at school soon.
