The TMS Juried Art Showcase is an exhibit displayed in May of each year. All students at Tchefuncte and all other schools in the area, their siblings, parents, and grandparents are invited to enter artwork in the exhibit. The media may include sketching, painting, photography, cartooning, sculpting, and many more. This event takes place on the same evening as the TMS Spring band, chorus, and violin concerts. Awards are given for each category and a $100 prize is given for Best in Show at each level. There are also two special awards for Most Generations Entered and Most Family Participants. The art is judged by local professional artists. All proceeds go to the Cultural Arts program.
