St. Tammany Parish School Board System

4-H is the largest youth organization in the United States of America. The students at T.M.S. who are in 4-H are part of the Louisiana State University system.

Each year at T.M.S., there are approximately forty-five students who join 4-H. These members choose activities they want to complete, such as; visiting interesting places, sharing experiences with friends and family, winning awards, learning to raise animals and plants, preparing food, caring for pets, going camping, collecting insects, learning to sew, and much more.

One of the biggest events for 4-H members of T.M.S. is attending the LSU rodeo ride in spring. This major event takes place each year. 4-H is a great learning experience and lots of fun.
